This Jelly Bean Easter Addition Craft is a terrific way to practice simple addition (up to 15) and makes an adorable Easter or Spring bulletin board display! Students will first create a super simple jelly bean jar, then they'll choose three colors to color SOME or ALL of the 15 jelly bens, and create an addition sentence to match. To make the cutting easier for small fingers, complete this activity over the course of two work sessions... create the jar on day #1 and add the jelly beans and addition sentence on day #2.
