This is my MOST POPULAR KEYBOARDING TYPING PRACTICE FUN digital resource file because it makes practicing typing both fun and engaging. Helps increase BOTH typing speed and accuracy. Perfect for early finishers in your Computer Applications, Keyboarding, or Computer Literacy classes.

I use these lessons in my Computer Application Classes for early finishers, before a holiday break, as bell ringers, between projects, during state testing when 1/2 the class is missing and for SUB DAYS! Some teachers have told me they use them with their ESL students to introduce them to our culture.
This lesson is appropriate to use after keys are introduced to students. Send them the file, they make a copy, and they can complete at their own pace when they finish early OR send them each activity separately to complete as you see fit!

- Dinosaurs
- Fun history facts
- Pizza shop list
- UFO sightings
- Address envelopes

My keyboarding practice fun activity files have quickly become my student's favorite! I have a complete collection of these fun and engaging keyboarding files for the entire school year...at least one for every month of school! See the bundle below! They are perfect for early finishers in your Computer Applications classes! These files are NOT designed to teach proper finger placement. However, I encourage my students to do so when completing. They are designed to offer a FUN, ENGAGING way to get students to practice typing and increase speed and accuracy. You will want to own them all!
Just make a copy…send to your LMS…then students make a copy…and they have their own file to type in the text boxes, complete, and turn in! It’s that easy!

I started makeing these keyboarding fun files years ago to meet the needs in my classroom. My students loved them! That said, my students were on desktop computers. We later migrated to Chromebooks (as a district), and still had the desktop computers in my classroom. Students always opted to use the desktop computers because you just can't make Chromebooks any bigger...most text is going to be small on the Chromebooks. I suggest NOT recreating these and instructing the students to go to view and make the screen bigger. This file is the very first keyboarding fun file that I created. I have several for various themes and holidays. I did intentually make the font bigger on the rest of the files.
