Keyboarding-Typing- Sample Keyboarding & Word Processing /Computer Course Syllabus
Note: Thumbnail images a little messed up. Syllabus neatly on 3 pages.
This is a 3 page Keyboarding/Computer Applications course guidelines/syllabus that I give to my students at the start of each new semester course. It has headings that contain information on the following: Course Overview, Goals/Overall Course Objective, Grading, Attendance, Make-up Work, Homework, Materials Needed, E-mail Account, Extra Help, Where You Can Find Me, Class Rules/Student Responsibilities in a Computer Lab, Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior, Consequences for Good Behavior, How to Succeed in the Course, etc. There is also a part for students and their parent to sign and submit back to show that it has been read.
This is a great resource to have so that you can see how you can set up your course guidelines/syllabus. You can use this as a model, delete information and customize it for yourself, copy/paste to create your own, etc.
Please see our store for a great handout that lists what is taught in a computer keyboarding & word processing course each marking period and a Getting Started handout that lists items to cover in the first few days of a keyboarding and word processing course:
