I loved using this resource for math instruction. It is very thorough, well-organized, and highly engaging for students. The guided math curriculum is easy to implement and provides meaningful practice throughout the year. My kindergarten students stayed engaged with the lessons and activities, and I appreciated having a resource that made planning and teaching math more manageable.

SO FUN but needs a lot of work

We love Natalie Lynn at our school. This math curriculum is fun and interactive, lots of games, plenty of worksheets, and it's so fun to teach. However, this curriculum desperately needs some updating and editing. It takes a lot of work to sort through all the typos, change of templates in the lesson plans, figuring out which worksheet is for which part of the lesson plans, and mistakes. It's very time consuming for the teacher on the front end. There are other things that would make it easier as well such as if the items to print and laminate had the unit and lesson numbers on it so that you can quickly figure out where to file it when you're finished using it. Some do and some don't. We hand labeled a lot of things. The supplemental units (Telling Time especially) also felt very sad after all the games and resources in the other units. It was a very teeny tiny thin packet and we had to purchase an extra packet of worksheets to go with it because we didn't feel like there was enough to fill our math time. Again, LOVE Natalie, LOVE this curriculum, but after completing our first year of it, I'm pretty exhausted. Excited for next year, now that I've gotten the hang of it, but exhausted.

While my district was unable to purchase a new math curriculum, this resource was a great starting place. My district has adopted a math curriculum but I will continue to use many of these worksheets and activities for supplementation.
