This packet includes eight math centers perfect for the month of February!
Post Office Addition: The students will use the counters and number line provided to solve each addition problem. (sums up to 10)
Subtracting Valentines: The students will color in hearts on each ten frame to solve each subtraction problem. (taking away from 10)
Count and Match: The students will look at different items and match the amount of each price tag to the card with the correct number of pennies. (counting up to 12 pennies)
Groundhog Tally Count: The students will look at a number and place a clothespin over the matching number of tally marks. (10-20)
Find the Missing Tooth: The students will practice counting on and determine what number is missing. (numbers 1-20)
Time to Brush! The students look at different clocks and place a clothespin over the correct time. (times by the hour and half hour)
Healthy Mouth Place Value: The students will put together two piece puzzles as they match each number with the correct word for of tens and ones. (numbers 10-20)
Presidential Measures: The students will engage in a fun nonstandard measurement activity as they use a star rule to measure different objects.
Each activity comes with a recording worksheet and an additional worksheet to help reinforce these skills.
