This packet includes eight math centers perfect for the month of March!
Adding with Coins: The students will use a number line and counters to solve addition problems. (sums 1-10)
Adding with a 10 Frame: The students will use two different types of counters to fill in a ten frame and solve the addition problems. (sums up to 10)
Place Value Pots: The students will count base ten blocks and place a clothespin over the corresponding number. (1-20)
Coin Count: The students will count coins (dimes, nickels, pennies) and place a clothespin over the correct amount. Note: This center includes two sets of cards to meet the needs of different learners.
Find the Leprechaunn's Hat: The students will look at a series of numbers and determine the number missing. The students will record their answers on the cards using an Expo marker. (1-25)
Stop Everything and Count: The students will count the number of tallies on a book and record the amount on each card using their Expo marker. (10-20)
One Fish, Two Fish Subtraction: The students will use images to help solve the subtraction problems. (sums up to 5)
Ten Frame Coin Count: The students will count the double ten frames and Velcro the correct amount onto each card. (10- 20)
Each activity comes with a recording worksheet and an additional worksheet to help reinforce these skills.
