This presentation uses a Lego inspired theme to introduce vocabulary words used for teaching the scientific method and how to create science projects. Vocabulary included: observe, infer, variables, independent variable, dependent variable, control group, constant variables, data, and metric measurement. The presentation also includes instructions for a whole class "I Spy" game in order to practice observation and inference skills. Most slides include teacher presentation notes in case you need help explaining the slide to the class. A template slide is included at the end if you would like to add your own slides. The accompanying fill in the blank class notes can be purchased and downloaded for $1.
