Any day an assignment is due, I always have a few Late Assignment/Missing Assignment Forms handy. I give a form to every student who does not have his/her assignment, regardless of the reason When the assignment is turned in late, I require that the form be attached. This really helps me keep tracking of who is chronically turning in work late. It also helps me to know if an assignment was late due to an absence.
