Description
Objective: By the end of the lesson students will add positive and negative integers by counting and be able to define and find the additive inverse.
This bundle includes all of the resources for Lesson 1 of the Math Essentials Curriculum. This is a remedial course designed to prepare students for Algebra 1 that includes Eureka Lessons from 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Each lesson has a PowerPoint, Guided Notes sheet and Exit Ticket which will be included as a part of a bundle. If any manipulatives are used in the lesson, they will be available as well. The mad minutes referenced in the powerpoint are available as part of a bundled document.
The materials are adapted from Eureka Grade 7 Module 2 Lesson 1 Topic A and include scaffolding and supplemental activities for students to master the concepts. The materials were designed for an 85 minute class so the lessons have been built out from the originals however the teacher guides available online will still support in your delivery
Note: The curriculum begins with Day 3 to allow for introductory and culture building days.
