I absolutely loved using this with my middle school students! I was only in a middle school library for one year but this was the highlight of that year! The kids really got a kick out of answering the questions and that's quite an accomplishment with that age group. Thank you so much for creating this resource!

My students were willing to do the activity. They were not thrilled about it just because they are middle schoolers but they still enjoyed the activity

This is a fantastic no-prep lesson for reluctant readers. I used this with multiple classes yesterday and most of the students claimed they don’t like to read. One student got “the comedian” as her top personality. The description says something like you say you don’t like to read, but you’ve probably been required to read books are are too serious. That was a real eye opener! Many students were amazed at how accurate the personalities were. I plan to follow up with a book speed dating activity where they can explore the genres that were suggested for them. Thank you!

Thanks, Erin! I based the Personalities on lots of real students and have tweaked them many times over the years. That part about The Comedian is one of my favorite parts to go over with students when we discuss each Personality. I actually have a certain way that I read it to emphasize each word that you quoted because I feel that part is so important. I'm so happy to hear the Personalities were accurate for your students!
