Description

For this product, students are to match a given graph to its corresponding equations in slope-intercept form, standard form, and point-slope form. This product includes 40 total cards- 10 examples each with 1 graph and three forms of equations.

Each set of cards have letters in the top left corner. When the students correctly match a set of cards, it will create a four-letter word for easy checking by the teacher.

A student capture sheet is included for students to record their answers and show their work. This also makes for a great test review.

Teacher Directions:

Cut the individual cards and shuffle before distributing to the students. The cards are currently in order and matched with their corresponding graphs and equations.

Graph proportional relationships, interpreting the unit rate as the slope of the graph. Compare two different proportional relationships represented in different ways. For example, compare a distance-time graph to a distance-time equation to determine which of two moving objects has greater speed.
Use similar triangles to explain why the slope m is the same between any two distinct points on a non-vertical line in the coordinate plane; derive the equation 𝘺 = 𝘮𝘹 for a line through the origin and the equation 𝘺 = 𝘮𝘹 + 𝘣 for a line intercepting the vertical axis at 𝘣.
Solve linear equations in one variable.
