The hardest standard to teach in 7th grade is linear versus non-linear relationships. All we do is touch the surface of linear relationships and don't even apply non linear relationships in any other standard. I narrowed this down to a system of checking if a relationship is linear, directly proportional, inversely proportional, and non linear. This helped my test scores last year.
