Teach your learners about compound words with this fun literacy center. Lunchbox Compound Words Literacy Center is an interactive activity for your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd graders. Students will match lunchbox cards to form compound words associated with school. Use it for simple matching or incorporate the grid for a game of Memory. HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
- Create a compound words literacy center with these activity choices:
- Making Pairs -- students will find 2 lunchbox cards that make a compound word.
- Memory Game -- students will play a traditional game of Memory, attempting to find the 2 halves of the compound words as the match.
- Employ this product in small group, guided instruction.
- Add this activity to your RTI materials.
- Incorporate digital learning by assigning this activity on TPT Easel.
