Description

Use these ELF RIDDLES to give your students computation practice that is tons of fun. 36 task cards present elf themed riddles that can be solved using the computation code sheet. ELF RIDDLES provide differentiated practice in addition, subtraction, and multiplication. This resource is available in print and digitally on TPT Easel. The cards can be used in multiples ways, but all ways lead to fun math practice.

HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT

To begin, give each student the computation code sheet appropriate to his/her needs and skills. After solving the math problems, your children will use the code to find the solutions to the riddles. The ELF RIDDLES can then be used in several ways:

  • Post the task cards around your space to create a riddles-around-the-room activity.
  • Use the task cards, or a portion of them, at your math center(s).
  • Make copies of the task cards to use as math journal prompts.
  • Using TPT's Easel platform, these task cards are available for digital learning.
  • Employ these task cards as bell ringer work.
  • Add this activity to your RTI materials.
  • Provide the task cards for fast finishers.
  • Include this product in your sub folder.

A NOTE TO EASEL USERS

You may wish to provide a paper copy of the code sheets for each student. This will preclude the need to scroll between screens.
