Description
This writing task allows students to connect with the titular character Macbeth by exploring their perspective of his moral alignment throughout the play.
Based on the alignment system from the popular game Dungeon's and Dragons, students must categorize Macbeth based on their perception of his views on "law" versus "chaos", and the other on "good" versus "evil". The two axes allow for nine alignments for the students to choose from. While some make more sense than others, there is no "right" answer and students have latitude to develop their ideas as they best see fit.
Included:
-9 morality designations with short write ups for students to decide between
-Rubric for writing task
-Student exemplar
