Description
This is a PowerPoint lesson I have created. I use it with my Eno board, but it can be used with any interactive whiteboard (including Smart Boards) that can open PowerPoints. I teach it for 6.4 in Houghton Mifflin, but it can be used on its own to teach students how to create and read tables. At the end of the introduction there is a game that reviews what was taught. I use it with clickers, but it can be used with index cards, by raising their hands, calling out their responses, etc. It provides a great review and the children really enjoy guessing what will be under it.
Another use for this activity is to print the slides and use them for posters for a word wall.
There are animations in this PowerPoint that may need to be slightly adjusted if you are using a larger/smaller than average screen. This should take only 2-3 mins if necessary.
You have the right to use my materials for your classroom. You do not have permission to alter, post, share, publish, or resell my work in any form.
