You will be surprised how these cards motivate your students to read notes. I just use flash cards to challenge students in my Title 1 school to read middle C up to high E in 30 seconds . They quiz each other and when they are ready, they come up to me to pass them off. They are SO excited to get this card. I don't start recorder until they all pass it off. You can challenge fast finishers to do it less time. I am amazed at how engaged they are.

The whole set in powerpoint that is editable- you can put names on before printing

These are designed to give to the student after he or she has achieved a certain mastery level for note reading.

I would sign the card neatly or have the student sign it and then laminate it and you can either give it to the student or post it on a bulletin board to display.
