Social emotional learning is a vital aspect of overall student success. Teaching students about emotions is a great way to incorporate social emotional learning. This basic skills task box teaches emotions through matching an emotion to emotion words. These task cards are a level up from the Matching Emotions Basic Skills Task Box.

There are four levels represented including: errorless matching, matching picture to word, emotion word tracing, and emotion word writing.

This would be great to use when working on specific IEP goals.

Students can use clothes pins to select the correct option thus incorporating fine motor skills or you can use Velcro, mini errors, dot markers, etc for students to use with this activity.
