Social emotional learning is a vital aspect of overall student success. Teaching students about emotions is a great way to incorporate social emotional learning. This basic skills task box teaches emotions through matching. There are three levels represented including: errorless learning, matching picture to picture, and matching non-identical pictures.
This would be great to use when working on specific IEP goals.
It would also be great to incorporate into centers or stations for special education or early learners.
Students can use clothes pins to select the correct option thus incorporating fine motor skills or you can use Velcro, mini errors, dot markers, etc for students to use with this activity.
