I hope you enjoy this Array scoot/around the room activity.
How to Use:
Scoot Game: Place one question card on each desk in your classroom. To play, students start at one desk and write the answer in the correct numbered box on the answer sheet. when you say SCOOT the students move from desk to desk, answering questions or solving math problems.
Around the room game:
Cut out the around-the-room cards. You can laminate them if you want to use them over and over again. They either place them around the classroom or tape them to the walls around the classroom. Have students use a clipboard or other hard book behind their answer sheet. They can walk around the room and solve the question on the card. they can work in pairs, teams, or even by themself.
This is a great way to check and see if the students are understanding how to use an array to make a multiplication problem. These can also be used for math centers or test prep!
