Do I need to do all 5 rounds of Math CHAMPS each day?
No, doing 1 round per day is highly effective if students are doing the partner activity 2-3 other times each week.
Do I need to do Math CHAMPS Camp everyday?
No, it does not need to be done everyday to be effective. Research suggests that 2-3 times per week of focused practice will be effective. Everyday would be the ideal.
Is Math CHAMPS to be used as a mathematics curriculum?
No, Math CHAMPS is a separate component for your math curriculum, designed to increase your students’ math fact fluency in basic math facts.
Are there included station resources included in this download?
No, Math CHAMPS is a rotation system, a way to organize math fact fluency activities to insure their mastery. I have included suggested activities for each station and I have suggested resources that I have created for each station, if you wish to purchase them.
