Description

These Integer task cards are fantastic!! They include 28 cards, answer sheets, and an answer key. These task cards introduce integers and are perfect for 4th, 5th, or 6th grade.Your students will love working with these task cards.

My Task Cards can be used to reinforce concepts, individual student practice, pair share, early finishers, math stations/centers, and assessment prep.

Topics Covered:

Negative Numbers
Positive Numbers
Comparing and Ordering Integers
Word Problems

I highly recommend printing these task cards and answer key on card stock in color. Students find them more interesting and exciting when they see the color clip art. Laminate them if possible so that they can be used for years.

This bundle is awesome! Included in this bundle are all of the task cards I created for my 6th grade class. I renamed this bundle from 6th Grade Task Card Bundle to Middle School Task Card Bundle because many of the topics included can be used in 7th and 8th grade as well. I love bundles because b

Understand that positive and negative numbers are used together to describe quantities having opposite directions or values (e.g., temperature above/below zero, elevation above/below sea level, credits/debits, positive/negative electric charge); use positive and negative numbers to represent quantities in real-world contexts, explaining the meaning of 0 in each situation.
Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates.
Recognize opposite signs of numbers as indicating locations on opposite sides of 0 on the number line; recognize that the opposite of the opposite of a number is the number itself, e.g., -(-3) = 3, and that 0 is its own opposite.
