Description
This Math Key Words for Word Problems Sorting Mats Pack has a list of common words student need to know.
Students learn which key words/phrases go with each operation.
Included in this packet are the following:
- b&w sorting mats for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- 40 task cards:
- answer sheet
- answer key
DIRECTIONS
1. Print out the mats and cards on card stock.
2. You can laminate them if you like.
3. Cut out the cards.
4. You can paste the mat to a file folder.
SORTING ACTIVITY in small groups or individually
Place cards face down. Students take turns choosing a card and placing it
under the correct question. Once all cards have been placed on the mats,
the activity has ended.
