Make math something to be thankful for!
This Thanksgiving Math Mini Cube is a hands-on math challenge, print-and-go activity that keeps students engaged while reviewing essential math skills before the holiday break. Designed for grades 4–7, each side of the cube features a unique math challenge:
- multi-step computation problems using all four operations,
- a logic puzzle to determine who brought what to Thanksgiving dinner,
- a coordinate graph mystery picture,
- a number pattern or reasoning task,
- a code breaker with a Thanksgiving joke reveal, and
- a math flow puzzle that builds problem-solving stamina.
Students solve, color, cut, and build their own cube while practicing fluency, logic, and number sense — a perfect blend of review and seasonal fun!

2 Math Flow – Follow the arrows and solve in order
3 Hidden Picture – Solve and see the hidden picture
4 Guess My Shape – Plot the points and see what appears
5 Picture Puzzle – See what the pictures represent
6 Logic Puzzle – See what the friends are taking to Thanksgiving dinner

- Then, the students will color the pictures.
- After all the pictures are colored, students will cut and assemble the cubes. More details for assembly are included.
