This 32-task card set has been designed exclusively as a way for teachers to informally assess their students’ knowledge of the 6 steps for math problem solving success. However, before the completion of any task cards, it is strongly recommended that students have a basic understanding of how the 6 steps for problem solving process works. How It Works: A total of 32 task cards is included with this resource. Presented on each card is a scenario (and a question) regarding the 6 steps for problem solving process. Students must use their prior knowledge about each step of the problem solving process in order to answer the questions correctly.

*These task cards can be used whole class, within a small-group setting, or just as a general review. They make a great math center/rotation/station activity as well as being used as exit tickets or an informal assessment of the 6 step problem solving process.

*There are two (2) answer recording sheets included with this resource. In order to save paper, you may wish to copy these pages back-to-back (2-sided).
