Description

This double-sided page is the perfect reference page for students to process or describe their work in writing or orally. The rubric assess students' development in the key aspects of problem solving: preparation, process, solution, check, and use of multiple representations. There are sentence starters to support their mastery of each aspect.

My students over the years have greatly benefited from this resource for when they discuss or formally write up their work. All students, but especially my English language learners and students with diverse learning needs (especially those with language-based learning disabilities and executive functioning needs), have become stronger problem solvers and communicators with this resource.
