Teach your students the important skills necessary for learning to code!

This bitmap coding activity is unplugged (does not require a computer). Students will write the correct code to create a bitmap graphic. After practicing to create the code, they will design their own bitmap image give it to a friend to create the correct algorithm!

Skills practiced: sequencing, analytic thinking, linear thinking.

This is a great activity to incorporate the NEW Ontario Math Curriculum which includes coding beginning in Grade 1.
