These task cards require students to apply strategic thinking with the skills they’ve already learned. The tasks are built to focus on pushing students beyond the usual application of their understandings and into level 3 of Webb’s Depth of Knowledge, using evidence or abstract thinking in increasingly complex ways.

They can be used as an independent review station, a 1:1 check-in, or to foster small group discussion.
