The Math Spoons Multiplication Facts Game comes with playing cards/task cards, directions how to play, and an answer key.

This multiplication fact activity is a great way for students to practice their multiplication fact fluency. Multiplication fact fluency can be a tricky concept for students to practice at first. However, those facts can easily learned through repetition, games, and activities. This game comes in handy in my classroom when we're doing spiral review and in math centers.

This is a perfect review activity before giving an assessment or as an extra practice supplement. Step by step directions are included so you know exactly what to do. This game can even be used as lesson plans for a sub as an easy to implement review game.

It can be used as a spiral review and is easy to set up and implement. This fun game can be used for elementary children as a worksheet alternative, printables, in math stations, center rotations, math centers, as enrichment or remediation, in small groups, as test prep, as worksheets, homework practice (send it home as a fun way to practice!), printables, and so much more! This math activity is made to be flexible so you can use it however you’d like in your classroom.

This aligns with 3rd Grade Texas TEKS:

  • TEKS 3.4F: recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automaticity and recall the corresponding division facts

You can also use these game cards to play Go Fish, Memory Match, and Four of a Kind. You're really getting four games in one!

I like to use this in my classroom before giving a test, quiz, or assessment. It really helps me see as a teacher which students need more practice or remediation and which students are ready for their division facts.

Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
Understand that shapes in different categories (e.g., rhombuses, rectangles, and others) may share attributes (e.g., having four sides), and that the shared attributes can define a larger category (e.g., quadrilaterals). Recognize rhombuses, rectangles, and squares as examples of quadrilaterals, and draw examples of quadrilaterals that do not belong to any of these subcategories.
