Description

*This activity contains 3 parts: a game board, a sheet of 30 adding integers problems, and answers.

*Step 1: Students write the answers from the “Answers” sheet on the line on the
“Game Board” There are 25 lines, but 30 answers so they will not use 5 answers.

*Step 2: Students will start at problem 1 and solve it. Once they have an answer
they will find that answer on the “’Game Board” and write the problem number in
the box. They will continue this process until they have a “Matho”. Examples of
“Mathos” are 5 across horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Other examples are 4
corners (1 answer in each corner) or postage stamp (4 answers in upper right
corner). When students get a “Matho” they can get it checked with the teacher
for a prize of your choice.

*This Matho activity is independent. Students can work at their own pace to get a Matho.
