This set of notes goes through applying the Distributive Property. It also then covers applying the Distributive Property then combining like terms to simplify expressions. Positive numbers are used in the expressions but subtraction with combining does take place. One part of the notes can be used for teacher direct instruction, while the other part can be used for students independent practice.
