This video lesson teaches students how to organize data with matrices. In particular, your students will be able to...
- Classify matrices by the number of rows & columns
- Identify the elements of matrices
- Use data from a table to write a matrix
- Solve for missing values when given equal matrices
- Add and subtract matrices
- Use matrices to translate objects
- Multiply matrices by a value (scalar multiplication)
- Use scalar multiplication to dilate matrices (or shapes represented by matrices)
You receive not only the instructional video but accompanying notes for students to complete as they watch the lesson. Answer key is also included.
