Description
This measurement interactive notebook helps students learn how to estimate the units of weight, length, and capacity and learn the vocabulary for each. This is a 4th grade math & science SOL but can be great review for other grades. There are 6 total slides that have links embedded. This is best to push out through Google Classroom or Schoology and assigned so each student has a copy. Great resource for distance learning or self paced learning.
The slides include:
- Connection to jog student's memories and get them thinking about measurement
- Explanation includes 3 Google Slides Mini Lessons to go though or the option of myself explaining them in a video
- Practice includes links to Quizizz for weight, length, and capacity
- Apply slide includes an interactive activity using SeeSaw (other digital platforms that allows students to take pictures will work as well)
- Reflection.
