A set of 4 worksheets and a quiz on finding numbers between whole numbers, designed for third grade level.
Can be used in tutoring or as a resource with specific students who need more focused practice on the concept. May be used to quickly review concept or help student re-learn it. I recommend using different pages on different days so the student has to move information in and out of memory more.
I created this to use with my tutoring students; this is a useful number concept for working with fractions and these worksheets help them think through how mixed numbers are situated in between whole numbers. While it appears to apply little to conventional math work, the benefits of it appear later on in the students' thinking.
