This is TWO microscope labs. The first ("e" lab) introduces students to the use of the microscope. It includes 16 assessment questions regarding all aspect of the lab and use of the microscope. The second lab (Plant/Animal Cell Lab) focuses on observing the structures of the Plant/Animal Cell. It includes three assessment questions for each type of cell. The true assessment that I use is in the labeling of the parts of the cells on the pictures students draw of what they see. The plant cell is the onion membrane and the animal cell in the cheek cell.
