The Sierpinski's Triangle! A Perfect Activity for Algebra - PreCalculus.

For Algebra & Geometry:

This activity requires your students to calculate the midpoint of a segment using the midpoint formula & an old-fashion compass. This activity also asks the students to analyze the mathematical patterns of The Sierpinski's Triangle. Once the activity is complete, your students then get to decorate their triangle!

For Algebra 2 & Pre-Calculus

This activity requires the students to use an old-fashion compass to find the midpoint of the segments of a triangle. This activity also requires to students to analyze the exponential patterns of The Sierpinski triangle, create a function rule for the exponential function, and graph the data they calculated. And of course, at the end of the project, the students get to decorate their triangle.

THIS ACTIVITY IS GREAT WHEN SHOWING OFF STUDENT WORK!!!
