Hi again Stewart’s Learning Lab,

Thank you so much for another wonderful review! It’s always great to hear when a resource helps break down a tough concept and makes it easier for students to understand. Minerals can be a tricky topic, so I’m thrilled that this resource made learning more engaging for your 8th graders.

I also love knowing that your students enjoyed working through the material—when learning is fun, it sticks! If they liked this, they might also find the Spectrum Sleuth: Color Quest series a great way to reinforce key science concepts while adding a hands-on element.

Try all three for free:

ENERGY TRANSFER Spectrum Sleuth: Color Quest

MEASUREMENT Spectrum Sleuth: Color Quest

IMPORTANCE OF ENERGY CONSERVATION Science Spectrum: Color by Code

I truly appreciate your continued support and the time you take to share your feedback. Wishing you and your students many more exciting science discoveries ahead!

Love these notes! It's a great way to have students visualize the content while filling in the blanks. The included PowerPoint makes it easy for everyone to follow along, both in class and on their own. I used these to highlight ways to identify minerals in conjunction with other lessons about the physical processes that created them and how they are used in real life.

Develop a model to describe the cycling of Earth’s materials and the flow of energy that drives this process. Emphasis is on the processes of melting, crystallization, weathering, deformation, and sedimentation, which act together to form minerals and rocks through the cycling of Earth’s materials. Assessment does not include the identification and naming of minerals.
