Description

Help keep kids engaged with these interactive money activities!

Eight different interactive activities are included, with sample photographs for students to see the final product. Several of the activities are differentiated for difficulty and to allow the teacher more options for instruction.

This pack includes:

• Money Flip Book- Flip book with information about the dollar bill and each coin.

• Show What You Know- Four small tab books with questions about each coin. Students can use the Money Flip Book to answer all the questions.

• Spinning for Heads and Tails- Students will use a paper clip to spin a coin. Then, students will toss the coin and create a graph recording what side (heads or tails) the coin lands on.

• Order Up- Students will count all the coins on the strip. Then, students will order the strips from greatest to least. Four different versions are included: nickels and pennies, dimes and pennies, dimes, nickels and pennies, and quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies.

• Take the Gnome Home- Students will count collections of coins (quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies) and sort to show greater than 50 cents or less than 50 cents.

• Many Different Ways- Students will show 4 ways to make a given amount. Three versions are included: $1.00, $0.50, and $0.25.

• Two Ways About It- Students will show 2 ways to make a given amount. Two versions are included for more practice.

• Shopping Time- Students will draw the coins to “buy” the item on the flip book. Two versions are included for more practice.

• Money Word Problems- Students will draw and solve the money word problems.
