Description

Number rods are a hands-on teaching material used in the Montessori method to help children understand the concept of numbers, counting, and their relationships. These rods are typically introduced in the early stages of Montessori math education, usually for children aged 3 to 6.

Number rods are a set of 10 wooden rods of increasing lengths. Each rod is segmented and alternates between two colors (usually red and blue) to visually represent each unit.

01. The shortest rod (1 unit) is entirely red.

02. The second rod (2 units) alternates between red and blue, and so on up to 10 units.
