Description

Here you will find 20 writing prompt to use throughout the year. Begin the year with a simple sentence starter which uses simple sight words (such a I, like, my, etc.) and printed in a dotted font. Students may finish the sentence by copying your sample or by using their own inventive spelling. All of the lines are large writing lines with a dash line running down the center of two solid lines.

Many prompt integrate science or social studies concepts such as:
Magnets attract...
A ______ sinks. A ________ floats.
My favorite Thanksgiving food is __________.

You will find one or two writing prompts to use each month throughout the year!

At School, I like …
