This motion quiz is based on force and motion concepts. Students must be able to compare one half of motion to another, infer motion from distance time graphs, and calculate variables of motion such as: speed, distance traveled, and duration of motion.
There are twelve total questions on this motion quiz. The first four questions require students to compare one half of motion to another and are in multiple choice format. The second four questions require students to interpret distance time graphs to determine if an object was at rest, speeding up, slowing down, or traveling at a constant speed.
