Ensure Success with Multi-Digit multiplication with this one-stop, no prep math activity. Teach the standard algorithm, area model, and partial products, with these meticulously designed worksheets, task cards, and google slides. With built in differentiation, template boxes, and video lessons, students will have all the support they need to master 2 x 1 digit, 2 x 2 digit, and 2 x 3 digit multiplication.

Different methods work for different students, and now you can teach three algorithms while staying organized. The standard algorithm, partial products, and the area model (aka the box method) are included in this meticulously designed pack. It includes color coded worksheets, fun task cards, a digital version for paperless practice AND 108 video lessons. I really thought of everything! Here's what you get with this resource:

3 downloadable PDFs, each with print and go worksheets and task cards AND a link for the digital Google Slides version! The google Slides version also includes videos that you can use or delete.

Standard Algorithm: 36 Questions across 6 worksheets, 36 task cards, 36 slide google slides version, and 36 video lessons, one for each question!

Area Model: 36 Questions across 6 worksheets, 36 task cards, 36 slide google slides version, and 36 video lessons, one for each question!

Partial Products: 36 Questions across 6 worksheets, 36 task cards, 36 slide google slides version, and 36 video lessons, one for each question!

Worksheets: 18 worksheets, 6 for each algorithm, with 108 questions total. The questions increase in difficulty and color-coded and numbered to demonstrate that difficulty. Makes it very easy to keep track of!

Each worksheet has 6 questions, for a total of 36 per algorithm. Every question is color coded (each digit is color coded) which provides students with an extra scaffold. Before they come to you for help, they can use the color codes to check the step they're on. This should save you a LOT of time and help students be more independent while they are learning!

Taskcards: 108 color-coded task cards, 36 for each algorithm, with the SAME QUESTIONS. This is just a different format if you prefer task cards for stations, independent work, etc. The task cards can be written on directly, or you can use the recording sheet.

Best feature: DIGITAL VERSION! 108 google slides, 36 for each algorithm. The digital version is google slides. Even if you want to use the worksheets, you can pull up the digital version and your lesson is already done for you! OR, you can assign the digital version to students as independent practice, centers, stations, or homework. Students and teachers are truly set up for success here, because there is a video lesson for EVERY question. You also have the option to delete the videos.

Video Lessons: 108 video lessons, 36 for each algorithm. You can play these in class during your lesson and have student follow along, or assign the digital version and kids can watch the videos themselves. The possibilities are endless but this should save you a TON of time! You can also deleted the videos off of the slides if you prefer.

These three resources were designed together. All of the numbers, colors, questions are consistent across algorithms. Therefore, you can pass out worksheet 1 for example, and say work on question 6, and all students will be working on the same question, even if they are using different algorithms. This is a great way to cater to the needs and personalities of your students. Also, since you get a video lesson for every single question, you can play the videos and project the google slides, and your lesson is already done for you.

I hope you enjoy this resource. It is very consistent and well-thought out, with the intention of saving you a lot of time and stress. Yes these questions are very scaffolded, with the hope that students can practice with these and then be able to graduate to non-color-coded questions. This is truly a way for students to feel confident and empowered while learning a tough new skill.
