Use this graphic organizer to build vocabulary skills with your students. This worksheet can be used for two words. The student must first record their own idea for what a word means. Then the student will use a dictionary and thesaurus to help them complete the chart. Students must create their own sentences and make their own connections.

I created these strips so my students can use them to jump back and forth along the metric system just like a number line or a place value chart when converting.
You can download and print these strips out onto colored paper and then laminate them. Once they are made, students can use them in class and at home.
