Description
These Multi-Step Word Problem Task Cards were created for students to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. They can use whatever strategies you have taught them to successfully complete the multiple steps on each card. Did you know students are more engaged when they are hands-on? These task cards are perfect for students who write on, physically hold one by one, and pass around if they work on them in groups.
I recommend printing these task cards on card stock and laminating them, before cutting them. This will make them last longer so you do not have to create them each year. This also allows students to use dry erase markers to write on the task cards. I encourage mine to circle numbers, box key words, and underline the question (just always have to remind them to wipe them off when they are done).
