Students need lots of practice with multiple step story problems.
Task Cards are great tools to use for the scoot game, partner work, test prep. etc.
My favorite use for Task Cards is partner work. I tape the individual cards up around the room. Then the students equipped with their work mat, clipboard (something to write on) and partner move from one part of the room to another doing the problems together. This keeps students up and moving while doing this assignment.

This is a great resource for higher grade levels. I have used it with some of my 2nd graders at the end of the year but it is challenging. I'd recommend this to students who are fluent with multiplication and division.
