My students love solving these grids as they're a great way to review simple multiplication (1-12) while forcing students to use deductive reasoning to determine which numbers go into each column and row so all numbers fit accordingly.

Time of completion varies depending on grade level but I use them after tests (keeps those who finish early quiet) or as Problem of the Week homework assignments. They're also perfect for extra credit or for emergency sub plans.
