Description

This foldable includes a review of multiplication using area models, partial products and the standard algorithm. I have found that many of my 6th graders struggle with multiplication so I find it necessary to review this before beginning multiplying numbers that include decimals. (6.NS.3)

Simply print two-sided, flipped on the long edge. Fold so that bottom title is still shown and cut on the dotted lines. Talk through the 3 given methods and examples for multiplication and then complete the “your turn” problems together with students. Answer key is provided. All of the example problems are two-digit by two-digit multiplication. A practice page is also included with 16 additional practice problems. These practice problems include up to three-digit factors.

Thank you! The INB was just what I was looking for. I love that you used "area model" instead of "box method" :)
