This is not your average multiplication task card bundle. The bundle also comes with an interactive notebook option. With the multiplication strategies task cards your students will learn how to multiply using arrays, grouping, repeated addition, number lines, and skip counting. A multiplication flip book is included to reinforce the strategies of multiplication. A matching multiplication chart will help your student prepare for looking at patterns in multiplication.

This product is extremely versatile - you can use this resource as task cards, bell ringers, interactive notebooks, or exit tickets.

I have minimized prep-time by adding easy-cut lines for the task cards. I personally use a paper cutter and that works GREAT!

Use multiplication and division within 100 to solve word problems in situations involving equal groups, arrays, and measurement quantities, e.g., by using drawings and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
Interpret products of whole numbers, e.g., interpret 5 Γ— 7 as the total number of objects in 5 groups of 7 objects each. For example, describe a context in which a total number of objects can be expressed as 5 Γ— 7.
Use addition to find the total number of objects arranged in rectangular arrays with up to 5 rows and up to 5 columns; write an equation to express the total as a sum of equal addends.
Determine whether a group of objects (up to 20) has an odd or even number of members, e.g., by pairing objects or counting them by 2s; write an equation to express an even number as a sum of two equal addends.
