Description

Multiplication Facts practice just got easier and more fun! Just like a multiplication facts table, your students will be able to use their Multiplication Wheel to look up any fact from x1 through x10. But instead of reading a rectangular array of products, they will “spin” the wheel to locate the fact and product they’re looking for.

This is such a fun hands-on tool that your students will love to make and use.

My Wheel of Multiplication is quite easy to make. Students will cut out the 2 large circles—a top layer and a bottom layer. You choose whether your students will write their own multiples on the bottom layer of the wheel or whether you’ll opt for the version where the multiples are already filled in. Let your students color each layer and then fasten together with a brad.

A very handy reference and learning tool that your students can use all year.

Spin the Wheel Puzzle Booklet

Also included is Set 1 of my “Spin the Wheel” puzzles, where students will practice their multiplication facts and practice using their wheels to solve the cryptogram puzzles. Assemble these 10 puzzles into a booklet and your kids will enjoy solving each.

And for more fun, grab SET 2 of "Spin the Wheel" Puzzles - here.

Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
