A collection of 12 multiplicative comparison word problems aligned to the common core standard 4. OA.1. It can be used as an enrichment activity for 3rd grade, on level activity for 4th grade, or additional support for 5th grade.

You can easily introduce algebra (using a variable to represent missing information) for the word problems. The short response questions have an algebra element included and vary in difficulty. The questions can be used as test prep or extra practice after studying the standard.
